"If Minister Sharon had not come into my life, I'm not sure if I would still be here. I have had nothing but negativity in my life since childhood. I was in a lifestyle of "just functioning". At one point, I noticed more negative changes in myself. I was withdrawing, having depressing thoughts, I was exhausted, I felt the need to "escape", the need to be away from people. I was angry and scared. I began attending the VLM Retreats. I noticed Sharon's words and creative activities we heard and did at the retreats seemed like it was all directed toward me and what I was going through. I felt like there was hope and some how, some way, I knew I needed to hang on! I attended more Retreats and began to remove these horrible feelings and negative changes I had been experiencing. I have learned through the VLM Retreats that I am not the only one experiencing such struggles. I have listened to and cried with everyday women that have worse struggles than me! I know it is going to take time, but I am on the right path God wants me to be on, and with Sharon's help, I will stay there.
